Special investigation service of Armenia will investigate the incident occurred between deputies of ruling Republican party of Suqias Avetisyan and opposition party "Heritage" of Ruben Hakopyan, Interfax reports.
As it was reported in General Prosecutor's office of Armenia, police are preparing relevant materials in General prosecution department. "By the directive of Prosecutor General of Armenia the materials will be delivered to Special investigation service", - was mentioned at the office.
A scrimmage happened between the deputies of Parliament of Armenia at a polling station after announcement of voting fraud in the presidential elections on Monday.
According to Armenian legislation, preliminary results of the elections will be known on February 19th no later than 20.00, and the final result will be announced in seven days after the elections.
Those running for the presidency are the incumbent president and ruling Republican Party leader Serzh Sargsyan, former Prime Minister Grant Bagratyan, chairman of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisyan, Paruyr Hayrikyan, Arman Melikyan, Andrias Ghukasyan and Vardan Setrakyan.
