The civil initiative "Let's prevent gas price hike" has appealed to Armenian citizens, shareholders of "Armrosgasprom" to join the struggle to defend the social rights guaranteed by the Constitution and to take part in a protest action outside the Armenian parliament building, Armenia Today said.

"Taking into account that Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Minister of Energy Armen Movsisyan and head of the Committee on Public Utilities, Robert Nazarian will attend the discussions on the gas tariffs behind closed doors, we will not allow the decisions directly relating to the broad masses to be made without the participation of concerned public members.
