Knyaz Ghazaryan, who was injured during the exchange of fire in Armenia's Gyumri city during the night of March 7, died early this morning, Gyumri Medical Center Director Armen Isahakyan told Armenian News agency March 11.
Ghazaryan had been in very critical condition from the start, and there was never any improvement, according to the medical director.
The other five injured are in good condition; three of them are in the Gyumri, whereas the other two are being treated at "Erebouni" Medical Center in capital city Yerevan,
Isahakyan expects the injured being treated at the Gyumri Medical Center to be discharged from the hospital March 12.
Shots were fired on the night of March 7 on a Gyumri street. As a result, six people were taken to the local medical center. Three of them had sustained gunshot wounds, whereas the rest were stabbed and pierced. Three of these injured were later transferred to "Erebouni" Medical Center and are in serious condition.
