Georgian Foreign Minister To Meet With NATO Secretary General
Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, will hold negotiations with Jaap De Hoop Scheffer, NATO Secretary General, reported Prime-News.
The Minister is visiting Brussels with a working visit to participate in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council in the 26+1 format which will be held at NATO HQ.
As reported, recent developments between the Georgian-Russian relations, including Russia's steps towards the separatists' regimes, will be discussed at the meetings.
According to the foreign ministry, Tkeshelashvili will take part in the International conference devoted to issues on global safety on June 20-22.
After that the Georgian minister will visit Poland where the meeting of heads of foreign departments entering "new friends" group will be held on June 25.
