Georgia, Tbilisi, 19 June / corr. Trend N.Kitzkhalia / The US North Atlantic Council's experts will develop a recommendation on Georgian-Abkhazian conflict settlement by September, David Jaysmith, a representative of the American non-government organization, told journalists on 19 June.

The Council organized a special conference with the participation of the Georgian, Russian and American experts, on the ways of settlement of the Georgian-Abkhazian relations in Georgia.

Jaysmith said that a recommendation was developed on the basis of the familiarization with the Georgian and Abkhazian position. "We have top-level specialists, who studied at the Columbia University," he said.

With the respect to replace the peacemaking format in Abkhazia, Jaysmith said that it was not necessary to involve the European Union in this problem. "Different political organizations, including OSCE, can keep control on peacemakers," an American expert said.
