Georgia Materials 15 July 2008 18:34 (UTC +04:00)

Georgia, Tbilisi, 15 July / Trend corr N. Kirtskhalia/ A special meeting of OSCE Standing Council took place in Vienna to discuss Russia's aggression act towards Georgia.

According to Georgian Foreign Ministry, international community flatly blamed violation of Georgia's air space by four Russian military aircraft. The act was interpreted as a next aggression act which posed a serious threat to the entire Caucasus.

The appraisal of the act by Georgia was principally shared by the European Union, United States, Canada, Norway and other OSCE countries. They noted that such a rough violation of international law norms and such open and cynical ignoring of county's territorial integrity and inviolability of borders is inadmissible.
