Georgia Joins NATO Codification System

Georgia, Tbilisi, 2 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Georgia joined the NATO codification system. According to country's Defence Ministry, the main function of the codification is improvement of communication on military issues amongst NATO members.

It was decide to create a unified language to improve the logistic cooperation amongst NATO countries.

NATO codification system uniting 56 countries was created in 1958. Georgia and India were the recent to join the system. The Council of Directors of the codification system will conduct its 94th meeting in November 2008.
