Georgia and Turkey Discuss Establishment of Regional Security and Aid System

Georgia, Tbilisi, 15 August / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia/ Georgia is ready to dialogue with Turkey to establish the regional security system, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili stated at a joint news conference with Turkish Premier Receb Tayyip Erdogan on 14 August.

"We will continue the dialogue with Turkey to overpass the crisis. We thank Turkey which is rendering gross humanitarian aid to Georgia," he said.

"We agreed to restore Gori and other premises jointly with Turkey when Russian occupation is over. We have received the support of fraternal Turkey in this connection," Georgian President said.

"We will continue work over the security system, which will prevent similar events in future," he said.
