NATO Week opens in Georgia

Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze and Special Representative of the NATO Secretary General in the South Caucasus and Central Asia have today officially opened a week of NATO. They will also meet with governmental and nongovernmental agencies, experts, journalists and diplomats.

Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze and Special Representative of the NATO Secretary General in the South Caucasus and Central Asia have today officially opened a week of NATO. They will also meet with governmental and nongovernmental agencies, experts, journalists and diplomats.

The results of the NATO summit in Chicago will be the main topics of the meetings. Latvian Deputy Minister of Defence Yanis Sarts will attend the meetings.

A week of NATO will be closed by Giorgi Baramidze and Lithuanian Permanent Representative in the Alliance Kestutis Jankauskas by a meeting with teachers and students in Telavi State University on June 16.

NATO Days in Georgia have been held for the fifth time.
