A number of intergovernmental agreements have been signed in Tbilisi during Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat's visit to Georgia, which started today. The prime ministers of both countries signed agreements on visa-free travel for the citizens of Georgia and Moldova.
The ceremony took place in the Customs Clearance Zone in Lilo (a suburb of Tbilisi), with the participation of Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili.
Members of the two governments signed three agreements on international road transportation, cooperation and mutual administrative assistance in the customs area and cooperation in health and medical sciences.
According to Filat, these agreements will strengthen the economic and humanitarian relations between citizens of both countries.
He also said that Moldova is interested in studying Georgia's experience on reforming the judicial system and mainly the police.
