The Georgian-American Medical Centre will be opened in Tbilisi on Friday.
The purpose of opening the centre on the one hand, is the development of the country's scientific and clinical radiology in accordance with international standards. On the other hand the promotion of bacteriophage therapy in Georgia and abroad.
As the U.S. Embassy in Georgia told Trend, U.S. Ambassador Richard Norland, Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Alasania, Health Minister David Sergeenko and other officials are invited to the opening ceremony.
The centre will actively use the methodology of telemedicine where a free consultation by doctors - graduates of David Tvildiani Medical University, who practice medicine in U.S. hospitals, will provide patients with modern methods of diagnosis and treatment.
