U.S. to help Georgia in construction of military recuperation centre

The Georgian Defence Ministry will open a military recuperation centre in Tbilisi with the support of the U.S.
The centre will be established with the assistance of the Georgian-American cooperation office in the military area and will become fully operational next year, the Georgian Defence Ministry told Trend on Friday.
The U.S. side will provide technical equipment for the centre and staff training.
A group of experts from the U.S. European Command Headquarters is already in Georgia and will take part in the establishment of the medical amputation centre.
According to the Georgian Defence Ministry, 20 Georgian servicemen are undergoing a rehabilitation course in the United States.
