A delegation of the Korean Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs is in Batumi to familiarise themselves with Georgia's marine potential. The group includes members of the European regional headquarters for Korean Register of Shipping.
Cooperative plans between Georgia and South Korea in the marine sector and the employment prospects of Georgian seamen were discussed during the visit.
Today, the Korean delegation will visit Batumi Sea Port and private marine companies.
The agreement on cooperation in the maritime sector is planned to be concluded between Georgia and South Korea in the future. The delegation's visit will conclude on Friday.
