Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, David Usupashvili discussed military cooperation between the U.S. and Georgia at the Pentagon. As the Georgian parliament reported on Thursday, the meetings were held during Usupashvili's visit to the U.S..

According to Usupashvili, meetings in the Pentagon were very interesting and dedicated to strengthening and deepening Georgian-American military cooperation.

"We have expressed our willingness to continue contributing to the promotion of international security and Pentagon officials thanked the Georgian army for participation in NATO operations in Afghanistan, where our military showed its best side," he said.

Speaker of the Georgian Parliament has held meetings at the U.S. State Department, Congress and Senate. He also participated in several round tables where he acquainted the public with the concepts of experts and Georgia's new government.
