Another presidential candidate Giorgi Tarmagadze was introduced in Tbilisi on Friday. A candidate of the party was named its leader at the conference of the Christian-Democratic Movement.
He stressed that Georgia needs the Christian and democratic ideology as the most suitable for the mentality of the Georgians.
Targaamadze said the party decided to name its candidate after the negotiations on nomination of a single candidate by the extra-parliamentary opposition failed.
"However, we are ready to continue consultations in this direction," he stressed.
The presidential elections will be held in Georgia on October 27. Seven candidates were officially registered in the CEC, but there are no well-known people among them.
