The presidential candidate of the ruling 'Georgian Dream' coalition, Giorgi Margvelashvili confidently leads in the presidential election, the exit poll of the Ukrainian SOCIS company said.
According to the company, which conducted the exit-poll by the order of the 'Premier' journal and the GHN news agency, Margvelashvili gained 65 per cent of the votes.
The candidate of the pro-presidential 'United National Movement' party, David Bakradze is in the second place with 16 per cent of votes, and the ex-Speaker of the Georgian parliament, Nino Burjanadze is in the third place, the exit poll said.
Other 20 candidates did not receive even 1 per cent of the votes.
In total 12,100 voters at 152 polling stations were polled.
