A Georgian parliamentary delegation paid a visit to the U.S on Tuesday morning. The delegation includes parliamentary majority representative Tina Khidasheli and minority leader David Bakradze.

Khidasheli told media at the airport that the delegation will participate at a meeting of the UN General Assembly in New York.

A number of meetings are planned to be held with the delegations of Eastern European countries. Bilateral relations and prospects of Georgia's European integration will be discussed.

"We intend to discuss the agenda of the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius with representatives of the Czech Republic, Poland and other countries, This is very important for Georgia because we are waiting to initial an association agreement with the EU and the support of our partners," Khidasheli added.
