Georgia's Energy Ministry announced a poll of interests to prepare feasibility study of the project of construction and operation of the Zoti hydropower plant on the Gubazeuli, Khinistskali and Kvirala rivers in the country's Guria region.

The ministry told Trend Feb. 5 that all those interested in taking part in the poll of interests are invited to submit their applications and relevant documents to the ministry.

The applications for participation in the poll of interests will be accepted until March 6, 2015.

The Zoti hydropower plant will have an installed capacity of 48 megawatt, and its annual electricity generation will stand at 225.1 million kilowatt hours.

The estimated cost of the project for the hydropower plant's construction is $104,125,600.
