Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili introduced the new ministers. Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili must introduce a new staff of the government to the parliament for a vote of confidence, RIA Novosti reported May 1.
An issue of confidence for the government led by Garibashvili arose after the seventh member of the Cabinet of Ministers, Georgian Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Levan Kipiani, left his post.
According to the Georgian constitution, one-third of ministers must leave the government for an issue of confidence to arise. There are 19 people in the Georgian Cabinet of Ministers.
The leader of the parliamentary majority Davit Saganelidze does not rule out that the procedure of expressing confidence to a new composition of the Georgian government will be held in parliament by the end of this week. The new government will begin its activity after the relevant presidential decree is issued.
