Georgia shares data on most exported products in 9M2021

Georgian exports from January through September 2021 amounted to $2.9 billion, which is an increase of 24 percent, compared to $2.4 billion over the same period of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).

According to the statistics, the share of the top ten trading partners by exports in the total exports of Georgia from January through September 2021 amounted to 77.6 percent. The top partners were China ($478.3 million), Russia ($426.2 million) and Azerbaijan ($400.2 million).

TOP-5 commodities in total Georgian exports from January through September 2021:

Copper ores and concentrates – 19.2 percent of total exports, or $571.7 million (decrease of 3.2 percent, compared to $590.8 million over the same period of 2020);

Vehicles – 11.3 percent of total exports, or $338.2 million (increase of 11.2 percent, compared to $304.1 million over the same period of 2020);

Ferro-alloys – 10.6 percent of total exports, or $316.5 million (increase of 75.5 percent, compared to $180.3 million over the same period of 2020);

Natural wine – 5.6 percent of total exports, or $166.7 million (increase of 16.4 percent, compared to $143.2 million over the same period of 2020);

Alcoholic beverages – 3.5 percent of total exports, or $105.7 million (increase of 22.6 percent, compared to $86.2 million over the same period of 2020).
