The export volume of Georgia’s apples from September 1 through November 28, 2021, amounted to 2,982 tons worth $1.9 million, Trend reports referring to the publication of the Ministry of Agriculture of Georgia.
The export price of Georgian apples during the reporting period of 2021 increased by 50 percent amid a decline in apple exports, the ministry said.
The largest volume of Georgia’s apple export accounted for Russia (2,977 tons), while the remaining 5 tons of apples were exported to Armenia.
According to the precious statistics, the export volume of Georgia’s apples from September 1 through November 21, 2021, amounted to 2,780 tons, which is a decrease of 44 percent, compared to the same period of 2020.
