The volume of money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia in November 2021 amounted to $7.16 million, which is $1.7 million more, compared to the same period of 2020 ($5.4 million), Trend reports via statistical data of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
According to the report, the current figure slightly increased by $600,000, compared to $7.1 million in October 2021.
Thus, Azerbaijan ranks 10 among the main countries with the largest amount of transferred money in Georgia in November 2021.
Meanwhile, the total volume of remittances in Georgia in November 2021 amounted to $207.3 million, which is $700,000 more than in October 2021 ($206.6 million), and $37.4 million more than over the same period of 2020 ($169.9 million).
The remittances in Georgia from January through November 2021 amounted to $2.1 billion, compared to $1.9 billion over the same period of 2020.
