(civil.ge) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin met with Matyas Eorsi and Luc Van den Brande rapporteurs from the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) in charge of monitoring Georgia, in Moscow on November 29.
Discussions focused on Russian-Georgian tensions in light of possible raising this issue at the PACE session in January 2007, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, reports Trend.
PACE monitors' visit to Moscow follows a trip to Tbilisi, where they have listened to Georgian officials and opposition politicians' arguments about the current tensions with Russia.
