Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al Sabah resigned because of a corruption scandal, the Kuwaiti newspaper "Alanba" said on Tuesday.
Minister resigned as a sign of protest against the government's inaction in connection with the corruption scandal in the media. Kuwait's Foreign Minister and his deputy are accused of transferring millions with the participation of current Prime Minister Nasser Al-Mohammed.
Al-Sabah also apologized because he failed to attend the emergency meeting of Arab League Foreign Ministers. The situation in Syria was discussed. The delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid al Jarallah.
