Tehran has made a protest to Kuwait with regard to the arrest of four Iranian nationals, who haven't been accused of any reasonable charges, spokesman for Iranian Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast said, IRIB News agency reported.

"The Kuwaiti side have not allowed Iranian diplomats into the country to communicate with the detainees," Mehmanparast said.

He added that Iran does not agree with the charges brought against its citizens and believes them to be unfounded.

Earlier, Kuwait abandoned its intention to charge the arrested Iranian nationals, but then for unknown reasons, introduced this issue on the agenda again, Mehmanparast said.
