Egyptian president instructs water affairs minister to form government

Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi instructed Minister of Water Affairs Hisham Qandeel to form a new government, Al-Jazeera TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Cabinet of Kamal al-Ganzouri resigned late last month and remained to fulfill his duties until formation of a new government.

Islamist Morsi, who won presidential elections, promised to be president "for all Egyptians".

He also announced his intention to form a coalition government of technocrats. At the same time, Morsi said that the new cabinet will consist of about 30 percent of representatives of the "Muslim Brotherhood" Association.
