The head of the Information Branch in Lebanon's Internal Security Forces (ISF), Wissam al-Hassan, was killed in the blast that rocked an eastern neighbourhood in Beirut on Friday, a security source told dpa.
"Wissam al-Hassan was the target of the deadly blast and he was killed in the blast," the source said.
