Spain will invite representatives of the Syrian opposition to a meeting on January 9 and 10 in the southern city of Cordoba, Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said Friday, dpa reported.
The meeting is aimed at "facilitating dialogue" ahead of a peace conference due to begin in Switzerland on January 22, Rajoy said.
The premier, who is attending a European Union summit in Brussels, did not give details on who will attend the meeting in Cordoba.
