New American Radar to Neutralize Iranian Shihab Half-Way

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak after a range of meetings with American officials has stated that Israel would join the global Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS), Cursor reported. The sides moved up in discussions on further development of antiballistic missile 'Khets'.

Furthermore, Barak said that the United States would install new FBX-T radar in Israel, which is capable of intercepting even tennis ball with a range of 5,000km. This radar will make Khets system capable to catch the Iranian Shihab rocket half way.

Barak met with the United States Vice President Dick Chain, as well as Pentagon's Robert Gaits, United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and United States President Advisor on National Security Stephen Hedly.

Tsipi Livni, Israeli Foreign Minister, and Shaul Mofaz, Transport Minister, both are the leading candidates to the position in the Kadim party, will got to the United States to hold negotiations. According to Cursor, three Israeli politicians, despite of the internal differences, will take strict measures against Iran in the case of continuing of the nuclear program.
