Israeli soldiers nab Gaza teen trying to penetrate into Israel
The Israeli army arrested on Saturday a Palestinian teen who tried to penetrate the fence between northern Gaza Strip and Israel, Israeli and Palestinian sources said, Xinhua reported.
Israeli Radio reported that the Israeli army stationed at the borderline fired illuminating bombs after getting the warning that a Palestinian was approaching the fence of the border. Several tanks rolled into an area near the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun. A 14-year-old Gaza boy was arrested.
Palestinian witnesses said the Israeli soldiers were on a full alert. The sky was lighted and several gunshots were heard.
