Israel, Jerusalem / corr Trend Y.Mushiyev / Abu Mazen, the President of Palestinian Autonomy, appealed for, in addition to the 255 prisoners released last week, the release of over 100 members of the Fateh organization, residents of the Gaza Sector.
Galay Tzekhal Radio reported that the key objective of this appeal is to consolidate Fateh's position in the sector and strengthen the pressure on Hamas to release Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit who is held captive.
