( dpa ) - Singer and actress Jessica Simpson was released from hospital Monday after being admitted Friday for treatment of a kidney infection.
Simpson representative Lauren Auslander said the 27-year-old is feeling "much better now." She was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a "minor kidney infection."
Earlier this month, Simpson took a trip to Iraq where she performed for US troops. She is currently working on a country album.
