The Charlie's Angel's star loves spending her Saturday evenings at New York karaoke bar Sing Sing, and admits time flies when she's having fun singing with her pals.
She tells America's W Magazine, "There'd be 30 of us in this really tiny room screaming at the top of our lungs. All of a sudden it would be four in the morning and we'd have no idea what time it was, no idea how long we'd been there, and nobody would be ready to go home. It was awesome".
In seperate news the actress Cameron Diaz is ready to ditch Hollywood and move to New York, because she is sick of the paparazzi's endless pursuit of her.
The star already spends part of her time in Manhattan, where she has one home - and was recently spotted hunting for another, in the city's trendy West Village.
Diaz claims she can live a normal life in New York, telling W magazine, "I'm done with L.A. Here (New York) I can walk down the street like everybody else and end up in a gallery or some wonderful ethnic food restaurant".
