Totti received a yellow card during Roma's game with Udinese after repeatedly offending referee Nicola Rizzoli, who apparently stood in Totti's way, causing him to misfire an inviting loose ball from inside the area.
Various commentators said Totti should have been red-carded as happened in the past to other players who insulted referees.
