American rhythm and blues singer Toni
Braxton, 40, has cancelled the rest of her two-year concert contract in
gambling resort Las Vegas due to illness, the internet news service E!Online
reported Friday.
The six-time Grammy winner was to have performed until August in Flamingo
Casino-Hotel. Her health was more important, said the casino, where she has
performed her "Toni Braxton: Revealed" show since August 2006.
Braxton started complaining of chest pains and was admitted to hospital in
April. She has not performed since then, dpa
reported.
Braxton has been treated for high blood pressure and heart problems in the
past.
Her most famous hits include "Youre Makin Me High" and "Un-break
My Heart".
