(showbizspy.com) - Jennifer Love Hewitt has reportedly postponed her wedding.
The Tropic Thunder actress -- who recently shed 18lbs after unflattering pictures of her on the beach were published -- and her fiance, Ross McCall, apparently decided to delay the nuptials following a rocky patch caused by the huge amounts of time they have spent apart.
A source reveals, "Things aren't great between them. It's hard because he's filming in New Mexico and she's in Los Angeles. The relationship is strained and their wedding won't happen anytime soon."
Jennifer, 29, got engaged to Ross, 32, last November.
She ruled out a summer wedding saying didn't want to be "a sweaty bride", and revealed she was looking forward to a "small, private, romantic and wonderful" ceremony.
Jennifer also hinted the couple were considering having a surprise marriage, saying: "If we kind of wake up and say, 'Let's go do it,' that's how we will do it."
Jennifer isn't the only star to delay her wedding plans this year.
It was recently revealed that Scarlett Johansson recently put her marriage plans on hold due to the upcoming American Presidential elections.
The actress is due to marry Ryan Reynolds this year. But, due to the fact her twin brother, Hunter, is busy working on Barack Obama's campaign, Scarlett was forced to push the date back.
A source said, "He is working all the time so Scarlett wants to hold off until the election is over."
The election is due to take place in November (08).
