Ukraine to Take Part in Development of Turkey’s Cosmic Projects

Ukraine, Kiev, 28 October/ Trend , corr Z. Novosvitski/ Ukraine plan to take part in the development of cosmic projects of Turkey, President Viktor Yuschenko said in a joint pres conference with his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul in Ankara.

Yuschenko said Turkey plans to build its own space-vehicle launching site and cosmic center soon. Ukraine has significant experience in this sphere. In particular, Ukraine won tenders on the construction of space-vehicle launching site in Brazil and cosmic center in Egypt, Ukrainian President said.

"We are prepared to cooperate closely in this sphere," Yushchenko said.

Ukrainian President highly appreciated Turkish companies and investors who are working in Ukraine within the frames of preparation to Euro-2012. He thanked for contributing to the economic life of Ukraine.
