Musicians Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel plan to tour again for the first time in five years following a surprise reunion at New York City's Beacon Theatre last week, the British Broadcasting Corp. reported.
Garfunkel told the BBC during an interview that the duo is preparing for a tour. The singer said the performances wouldn't be in England. He wouldn't say if the tour will include a U.S. leg, the BBC said.
Simon & Garfunkel, whose hits include "The Sound of Silence," "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "The Boxer," last performed together in 2003 and 2004 in their first tour in 20 years, the BBC said. Simon performed at the reopening of the Beacon Theatre on New York's Upper West Side on Feb. 13 and was joined by Garfunkel for an unannounced encore, Bloomberg reported.
