On Thursday, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner met with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. During the meeting, French Foreign Minister said his country would increase financial aid to Afghanistan, the Afghan President's press service told Trend .
According to Kouchner, France will increase aid to Afghanistan to improve the situation and the logistics of the health system of this country.
Exercises, which French police will carry out with their Afghan counterparts, were also reviewed at the meeting.
Kouchner said his country will provide scholarships to Afghan youth to receive education in France. According to him, they are ready to help young Afghan diplomats to raise their level.
At the conference in Paris the conference on development of Afghanistan said that the country will allocate $167 million to this country.
