Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko on Wednesday arrived in the Turkish largest city of Istanbul in a private jet to watch UEFA Cup final game, local Today's Zaman reported.
Yushchenko was greeted by Istanbul Governor Muammer Guler and officials from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the Ataurk International Airport, Xinhua reported.
President Yushchenko will watch Wednesday night's UEFA Cup final game between Ukraine's Shakhtar Donetsk team and Germany's Werder Bremen team at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium after which he will leave for his country.
