Six people were killed when a mini-bus plunged off a cliff in the northern
Philippines, a police report said Tuesday.
Nine passengers were also injured in the accident late Monday in Suyo town, Ilocos Sur province, 330 kilometres north of Manila, dpa reported.
The police report said an initial investigation showed the road was slippery following a downpour and the driver lost control of the mini-bus.
Four of the victims died on the spot, while two died in a nearby hospital, where the injured were also rushed for treatment. dpa jg gl cd im Author: John Grafilo
