Moscow police looks for suspects in a Range Rover car who at least three times opened gunfire from their vehicle in the Russian capital early on Friday, a police source told RIA Novosti.
"The car's license plate has the number of Region 05, which indicates the republic of Dagestan [in Russia's North Caucasus]," the source said.
He added that the shooting occurred on the Bratislavskaya street, the Perervinsky boulevard and near the Kuzminki park.
The Moscow police have not yet officially confirmed this information.
The Russian capital saw its biggest public disturbances for almost a decade when nationalists and football hooligans clashed with police on Saturday.
The fans were protesting the death of Yegor Sviridov, 28, who was killed in a brawl with migrants from Russia's North Caucasus region.
