US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said on Friday that the regime of President Bashar al-Assad will pay a "heavy price" for violating human rights in Syria, dpa reported.
Clinton told the Friends of Syria meeting in Tunisia that Damascus has ignored warnings from the international community, and called for an international boycott of the country's oil.
