Plane carrying 131 people crashes in Pakistan
A plane carrying 122 passengers and nine crew members crashed into a residential area near the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, civil aviation officials said, dpa reported.
The Boeing 727 from privately owned Bhoja Airlines was flying from Islamabad to the southern port city of Karachi, said Pervez George, a spokesman for Civil Aviation.
Government-run Rescue 1122 spokesman Saifur Rehman told Geo television from the site that there were dead bodies scattered everywhere.
