Syria will allow United Nations inspectors to investigate an alleged chemical attack site near Damascus, the Foreign Ministry announced, dpa reported.
State news agency SANA, quoting a ministry official, reported that the government has reached a relevant agreement with Angela Kane, the UN high representative for disarmament affairs, who is currently in Damascus.
"Coordination will be conducted with the Syrian government on when the (UN) team will visit the places on which the agreement has reached," adds the unnamed official, according to SANA.
