Turkey is to extradite a Russian citizen charged with embezzling $1.3 million from the state, an Interpol source said on Friday, RIA Novosti reported.
In February 2005, Pavel Grebennikov was put on the international wanted list on charges of embezzling 40 million rubles ($1.3 million) from the Russian budget in 2001-2001. He was detained in the Turkish resort town of Antalya earlier this month.
Grebennikov will be brought to Russia on Saturday, where he faces up to 10 years in prison.
