Turkish Foreign Minister in Italy
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu was received by President Giorgio Napolitano of Italy on Tuesday, Anadolu agency reported.
Davutoglu is currently paying an official visit to Italy to attend the Turkey-Italy Dialogue Forum.
After delivering a speech at the forum, Davutoglu held talks with his Italian counterpart Franco Frattini earlier in the day.
The minister is set to attend a reception to be hosted at the residence of Novber Ferit Vechi, representative of the Turkish republic of northern Cyprus (TRNC) in Rome to mark the Republic Day tonight.
Davutoglu es expected to proceed to Strasbourg on Wednesday to take over six-month chairmanship of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers.
