Turkish President Abdullah Gul will travel to Kuwait on Friday upon an invitation from Kuwait's Amir al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah, Anadolu News Agency reported.
Presidential Press Center released a statement and said President Gul will meet with Kuwait's Amir and assess regional developments as well as bilateral relations.
Gul will attend celebrations to mark 50th anniversary of Kuwait's gaining its independence and 20th anniversary of liberation of Kuwait from Iraqi occupation.
