Four terrorists, including two women, were killed late on Tuesday in a clash between Turkish security forces and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the eastern province of Elazıg Today`s Zaman reproted
In a statement released after the clash, the Elazıg Governor's Office said teams from the Elazıg Provincial Gendarmerie Command conducted an operation against PKK terrorists who had been setting up roadblocks along the highway between Arıcak and Üçocak districts over the past two days, and killed four terrorists.
"Operations are continuing to ensure the security of the local population," the statement said.
