Turkey to continue fight against ISIS – foreign ministry

Turkey is determined to continue the fight against the terrorist organization "Islamic State", the Turkish TV channel TRT Haber said Aug. 5 with reference to the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
Cavusoglu said that moderate opposition forces can be deployed on the Syrian territories liberated from ISIS insurgents. In addition, the Syrian refugees can return to these areas.
At the end of July, a powerful explosion occurred in the Turkish city of Suruc on the border with Syria. Some 32 people became victims of the attack, about 100 people were injured.
On July 25, the Turkish Air Force embarked on a major military air operation in northern Syria against the militants of the "Islamic state."
